The HL-9J-0174 was first designed and introduced by H&L back in 1974 for Caterpillar Hydraulic Excavators. These adapters are welded to the cutting edge on both top and bottom straps for strength and impact resistance.   HL-9J-0174 adapters will fit Models 235FS, 245E, 245F, 245G and 245H Excavators.   Current Cat PSK calls for a part number 6I-6554 as the replacement.
