H&L Tooth Company began producing forged Ground Engaging Tools in the early 1930’s with the issuance of original U.S. patent of 1934 to partners Chester C. Hosmer and Ernie L. Launder. The first two-part tooth systems were produced in Southern California.
After 57 years of producing forged teeth in Montebello California, H&L relocated their GET manufacturing and processing facility to Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Montebello property was redeveloped into several multi-rental investment complexes and maintains corporate offices at the California site. Since our relocation, H&L continues to forge ahead with the industry’s strongest Uniforge® Ground Engaging Tools… and after 85 years H&L forgings are still MADE IN THE USA!
