H&L’s Cast Value 230TF Fangs digging Style tooth matches the John Deere TF23D design. The 230 series tooth-pin-adapter connection is an H&L Original patented design from the 1950s. John Deere states; that the Fangs “teeth have a self-cleaning effect that lets dirt flow between teeth”. For heavy duty rock applications, H&L recommends the FORGED 230CLAW (Curved Profile) design, similar to Deere #TF23D.
