H&L Tooth Company History since 1931:

This Excavator/Backhoe weld-on adapter was first designed and introduced by H&L Tooth for many OEM Companies including John Deere in 1967.   H&L’s 2740-AW-23 weld-on adapter (John Deere #U42750) was developed for small Excavators and Loader/Backhoes.   Also used as OEM, B9000568 Case, 7703990 Ford and 61532C1 for IH-Dresser.   For a deeper dig use 2740-MW-23 design, same lip fit.   Today, H&L continues to produce the “Original” 2740-AW-23 (Standard Dig) adapter and 2740-MW-23 (Deep Dig) for the 230-Series tooth system.
