H&L Tooth Company History since 1931: This Excavator/Backhoe weld-on adapter was first designed and introduced by H&L Tooth for many OEM Companies including J. I. Case in 1959. H&L’s 2740-W-23 weld-on adapter (Case #B911262) was developed for small Excavators and Loader/Backhoes. Also used as OEM, B9000568 Case, 7703990 Ford and 61532C1 for IH-Dresser. Today, H&L continues to produce the “Original” 2740-W-23 adapter and 230-Series tooth system.
