H&L Tooth Company History since 1931:
This forged Scarifier ripping shank was designed and first introduced in 1966 as the OEM John Deere numbers U-41915, T-114792 and T-71802, assembly numbers AT68771, AT-115579 and AU-68771, replacement for the Ormco Model 40. H&L’s 1L-Series Crimp-on Tooth is no longer produce. In 1987 the G-877-B-1L was redesigned to utilize the HL-6Y-5230 Slip-on tooth.
Today, H&L continues to produce the HL-6Y-5230 forged tooth and scarifier system for nearly fifty years
